A year ago, someone (special to me still today) invited me to join the Garden of Friendship. I had never been involved in a group before. Since my back injury, I have always kept busy maintaining my weightloss site, helping low-carb dieters with questions and general help, building web pages, and making graphics and of course watching the Kansas City Chiefs Football!.

I came in right before the birthday bash and although it was a busy time for everyone, my every question was answered and I was made to feel very welcome. I was assured that no question was too dumb and that things weren't always this hectic. I joined Special Friends and made some special ones along the way.

It was when I joined the Tutorials Group that I met a lot of friendly people that helped my small talent grow with Paint Shop Pro 9.The tutorials are great, the people are awesome! They are so quick to help you find what you need, share what they have and what they know! It was a great way to become more involved in the garden. I was able to make great little gifts to share with my new friends!

I took on the ACL position and help form the Health and Beauty Committee. I maintained the Weightloss Clinic part, but it ended up becoming a Fun Group instead. So I stepped down as ACL, but stayed on as a member of the H&B Committee and took on Group Leader Position of the Weightloss Fun Group
